| It
is ironic that, in the midst of all of the fuss
that goes into planning a wedding reception, it
is the wedding ceremony itself that often seems
to fall by the wayside. The band is auditioned,
the food is tasted, the bride's dress is painstakingly
altered to fit like a glove...but the exchange of
vows, the formal commitment to each other, is all
too often somehow incidental. |
 |
| Perhaps
this is because the entire ceremony is in the hands
of the officiant or that too much planning can make
the ceremony seemed overely staged or artificial.
The truth is that memorable, meaningful wedding
ceremonies take some planning. |

| Our
officiant, Donald Miller, works closely with the
bride and groom to plan a ceremony that reflects
your beliefs and feelings for each other. He will
discuss your preferences and you personal beliefs
about marriage and make suggestions to ease you
into the vows that best reflect the two of you.
If you choose to write your own vows, he will help
you with your own feelings about marriage and about
what a strong commitment entails. |
 |
| On
the day of your wedding, there is no doubt that
you two will be at least a little bit nervous. Brides
and grooms with pre- ceremony jitters will find
that Donald's calm personality, his way of handling
the shakes, giggles, teariness, and a host of other
emotional reactions will be met and dealt with so
that you can both feel more comfortable than you
had ever imagined. |
